About Kim McBrien Evans

You may have seen Kim's jaw-dropping sweater, Light of the Valkyrie, on Knitty.com last year, her inspired designs online and in publications like Vogue Knitting, or her book, Custom Shawls for the Curious and Creative Knitter with Kate Atherley.

Kim has taught everywhere from Vogue Knitting Live, to Knit City, to the Edinburgh Yarn Fest, and countless places in between. A long-time advocate and activist for inclusive sizing and design, she has served on Vogue Knitting's Diversity Advisory Council, and in 2022, Kim published her work on representative sizing, including new size charts for designers. In 2023, she was named an Interweave Top 5 Trailblazer for her work in this field. We love that Kim brings these values and expertise to her courses.
