Shipping
Standard Shipping
Our shipping rates are based on our carrier costs. We endeavor to choose the most economical shipping option and pass that on to you.
We ship most items within 1-3 business days. Orders placed after 3pm may not be processed until the next business day. Our business is closed on Mondays.
We ship the majority of packages via USPS. USPS does not pick up from our business on Sundays; therefore, please note that orders placed on a Saturday may not ship until the following Tuesday.
You will receive an automatic email notification from our system when your package has been prepared for shipping and scheduled for pick up. Carrier times beyond our processing time are not within our control.
If you do not receive your package within a reasonable amount of time (at minimum, our processing time plus carrier shipping estimate), or if you receive an item that appears to have been damaged in transport, please get in touch with us right away so that we can address the situation.
Free Shipping
For orders that meet our free shipping threshold, standard shipping is the default. If you require priority or faster shipping for your order, you will need to choose a paid shipping option.
Shipping Books and Heavy or Oversized Items
Heavy or oversized items may require additional processing time and may have an additional shipping cost. We may choose a different carrier, such as UPS or DHL, for certain items if it is more practical or economical.
We ship most books via USPS Media Mail, which is the most economical method. Media Mail is slower than regular mail, so please choose another method if you need your book order quickly.
Drop-Shipping, Pre-Orders, and other Shipping Situations
We offer drop-shipping from several of our vendors. Drop-shipping orders are sent to the vendor and are shipped directly from their warehouse to you. We will give you the best information we have available regarding drop-ship timelines.
When we have pre-order events, we do our best to estimate shipping dates based on our understanding of when those pre-orders will arrive in our shop. If there are ever delays, we do our best to communicate with you, and provide you options where we can.
Occasionally, items we've ordered for you turn out to be back-ordered or delayed due to supply-chain issues. In those cases, we will contact you with the best information we have, and will work with you to achieve a satisfactory solution.
