Moongate Farm
Description
This hyper-local yarn is from Valais Blacknose sheep on a small family farm, spun at a mill in Port Orchard, Wa.
At Moongate Farm in Woodinville, Washington, we share our days with a cheerful menagerie—Valais Blacknose sheep, alpacas, donkeys, cows, horses, chickens, and ducks. Our VBSS-registered sheep trace their roots to Wild Rose Farm on Whidbey Island, and their luxurious fiber (along with our alpaca fiber) is spun into yarn by a wonderful mill in Port Orchard. Each skein begins with the animals we raise with care and ends as something we’re truly proud to share.
