The Pirate Doodles Infinity Cowl by Jamie Lomax of Pacific Knit Co. was created with color set developed with Huephoria Fibers, our in-house dye studio.

This pattern includes 24 pirate doodle motifs including pirate ship, desert island, mermaids, sharks, pirate hats, parrots, a compass, a spyglass, a ship’s wheel, barrels, planks, chains, a message in a bottle, treasure, and more! Also included are instructions for an infinity cowl, and worksheets for creating your personal doodles.

SUGGESTED YARN

Huephoria Fibers Yaaaaarrn! Pirate Doodle Set (available May 13th) (Student Council DK), 75% superwash merino, 25% nylon, 2 full skeins of 246 yds/100 g skein and 10 mini skeins of 49 yds/20 g mini skein

Yarn substitution notes:

Any DK, light worsted, or sport weight yarn that meets gauge. Doodles are designed to use leftover yarn, yarn advents, or any other small batches of colorways in your stash. Yarn shown is a suggestion from the Designer. Alternative yarns are encouraged. Sample uses Huephoria Fibers Student Council DK base, 75% Superwash Merino Wool / 25% Nylon, 100 g skeins, 246 yards [224 m]. Yardage listed in total yards per size in colorwork due to the customizable nature of this pattern: 320, 415, 630 (750, 865, 980) yards; 293, 380, 576 (686, 791, 896) meters

SUGGESTED NEEDLES

US 5 / 3.75 mm or size needed to obtain gauge 16 or 24 in [40 or 60 cm] circular needles based on size

This elegant and drapey one-skein shawl designed by Toni Lipsey of TL Yarn Crafts was developed using an exclusive colorway, "Ice Cream Castles," from Huephoria Fibers, our in-house dye studio. 

Yarn Notes: The designer used a fingering weight merino/cashmere/nylon blend. Any fingering weight yarn will work, but choose a yarn with good drape. 

SUGGESTED YARN

Huephoria Fibers Honor Roll Sock, fingering weight, 80% superwash merino, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon [437 yards / 100-gram skein]. Sample uses 435 yards in the colorway Ice Cream Castles.
