What to Expect:
Play with Yarn and Colors:
  • Discover the magic of mixing and matching fiber types, weights, dyers, and colors to create truly one-of-a-kind designs. We’ll go over how to create the perfect colorwork palette, when/where to use variegated yarns, and tips for getting the right contrast in your colors!
Designing with Modular Motifs:
  • Join the motif mix-up party! Explore an endless library of designs, from classic to quirky, and learn how to blend them seamlessly. Get ready for a mash-up of creativity in modular colorwork using Doodle micro motifs.
Doodle Your Designs:
  • Ever dreamt of turning your own doodles into knitted masterpieces? Dive into charting and designing your own whimsical patterns. We'll guide you through the process of bringing your imagination to life using both digital and physical examples.
Colorwork Tips and Tricks:
  • Learn some simple tips to master stranded knitting in a relaxed and friendly environment. We'll unravel the secrets to tension management, how to hold your yarns, color dominance, and catching floats.

By the end of "Doodle with Yarn," you'll not only be on your way to a fabulous collection of hand-knit wonders, but you’ll also have the confidence to design and knit your own colorwork projects.
