A triangle shawl with a graphic, slipped stitch pattern evoking two powerful forces – maps and waterways – both of which have shaped the history of the Duwamish Territory.

This was created as a collaboration with the Log House Museum in the Alki neighborhood of West Seattle, inspired by their exhibit, “Between the Lines: the Power and Parallels of the West Seattle Annexation.”

Berroco Ultra Wool Fine, 100% superwash wool, 400 yards (366 meters), 100g; two skeins in contrasting colors; sample shown in “Sunflower” and “Verbena”
