Puget Sound Local Yarn Shop Tour May 15th-19th, 2024

Extended Hours During the LYS Tour

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 10am-8pm

Saturday, Sunday 10am-6pm

It's time for the Puget Sound Local Yarn Shop Tour, also known around here as simply "the LYS Tour" (LYS stands for 'local yarn shop' for those who aren't familiar with the term). The LYS Tour is a fabulous five-day extravaganza with 21 shops all around the region participating! It's one of the biggest yarn crawls in the country!

Pick up a free passport from us (we have them at the counter) or download one at lystour.com and start planning your route! Get your passport stamped at every shop you go to. You can enter your passport for prizes at the end of your adventure - there are prize tiers for getting 7, 14, and all 21 stamps! We always like to do something fun for folks to finish at Seattle Yarn, too.

Every shop on the LYS Tour will have:
- New, exclusive knit and crochet patterns (patterns are FREE when you visit in-person, or with any online purchase for those of you touring remotely)
Seattle Yarn's Knit Pattern: North Admiral Cowl by Destiny Itano
Seattle Yarn's Crochet Pattern: Bird's Eye View Bandana Cowl by Tessa Herra

- Featured yarn on sale
Seattle Yarn's Featured Yarn: Indigodragonfly Cariboubaa

- Daily prize drawings

In addition to all this, here at Seattle Yarn, we have several fantastic trunk shows that you will NOT want to miss! Click the links below to find out more.
The Plucky Knitter Trunk Show
