Rigid Heddle Weaving Beyond the Basics
Description
***This class will be held inside. Masks will be required. Thank you!***
Have you taken our Weaving Basics class? Ready go beyond the basics? This class is dedicated to learning all sorts of fun, new stitches using a rigid heddle loom (sounds magical, right?). We'll be using our new skills to create a woven sampler wall hanging. So, break out the loom and get funky with novelty yarn, create delicate lace stitches, and more!
Prerequisite: Students must have completed Weaving Basics or similar class or have working knowledge of the basics of rigid heddle weaving.
Note: You must have your own loom for this class. Looms and accessories (reeds, shuttles, etc) may be purchased at the shop. Please check early about any supplies you need, as inventory and supply-chain issues can affect availability.
Looms *may* be available to rent for this class. Please contact us to inquire about a rental.
Looms must be warped prior to class - warping available for an additional fee. Contact us for details/costs.
Please note: Classes are non-refundable unless the class is cancelled or rescheduled. Please sign up for classes you know you can attend.
Wait lists are available for full classes. Please call us (206.935.2010) or send an email (seattleyarn@gmail.com) if you'd like to be added.
