Sweater Workshop - Shorescape Cardigan
Description
Ready to make your next wear-it-all-the-time sweater? This class is by popular demand - the Shorescape Cardigan is one that so many folks have asked about, because Destiny wears hers all the time!
In this class, you'll knit the Shorescape Cardigan, and along the way, you'll learn about all kinds of sweater essentials: measurements and sizing, swatching, adjusting for gauge, blocking, seaming, and finishing! You'll come out with a ton of knowledge and confidence, and of course, a fabulous sweater that just may become your next staple.
The pattern: The Shorescape Cardigan is a fingering weight, drop-shoulder style cardigan, knit in pieces and seamed. It is written with a series of stripes, which allows you to play with color. You can also knit it in a single color if you like. The pattern is available on Ravelry; please support the designer by purchasing directly there or through us at the shop.
Prerequisites: Confidence in the basics (casting-on, knit, purl, increases, decreases, and binding-off), as well as some experience following a pattern.
This absolutely can be your first sweater, or your first seamed sweater!
